a) Joint responsibility

Together with Facebook, we are jointly responsible for data processing in connection with this Fan Page, in particular concerning Page Insights, in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’) (Art. 4(7) GDPR). When you visit this Fan Page, personal data is processed by Facebook and us as joint controllers.
This Privacy Notice informs you about the extent to which we process your personal data (hereinafter ‘data’).

a) Operation of our Fan Page

(1) Interaction and communication
The purpose of operating our Facebook Fan Page is to make contact with users and visitors to the Facebook social network and foster interaction and communication. We provide information that directly concerns our company and its associated offerings. These include such topics as events sponsored by us or other current events, special promotions and offerings, etc.

(2) User analysis
We are able to receive statistics related to visits and visitors with the aid of this Facebook Fan Page. This information is compiled by Facebook. This enables us to better and more effectively manage the marketing of our activities. In doing so, we may sometimes be provided information concerning the Facebook profiles of individual users who like our Fan Page and/or use applications on this page. This allows us to provide improved content and features to these users via our Facebook Fan Page.
To further improve content on our Facebook Fan Page, we may also use information we collect during your visit to perform demographic and geographic analyses based on that information. This enables us to place interest-based advertisements in a targeted manner. This is done without direct knowledge of your identity as a visitor.
Data may also be collected and analysed across devices if you use more than one device when visiting Facebook. This is only the case if you visit our fan page as a registered user while logged into your Facebook profile.
Visitor statistics thus compiled are transmitted to us solely in anonymised form. It is not possible for us to access the underlying data.

b) Use of Page Insights and Cookies

In connection with the operation of our Fan Page, we use Facebook Insights to obtain anonymous statistical data about visitors to our Fan Page.

 

(1) Page Insights comprise summary statistics that are generated based on specific events. They are logged by Facebook servers when people interact with pages and content associated with the pages concerned.

 

These events comprise different data points, which, depending on the event in question, may include the following:

 

  • Actions taken by persons, such as:
    • Viewing a page, post, video, story, or other content associated with a page
    • Interacting with a story
    • Subscribing to/unsubscribing from a page
    • Marking a page or post with ‘Like’ or ‘Dislike’
    • Recommending a page in a post or comment
    • Commenting, sharing or reacting to a page comment (including the type of reaction)
    • Hiding a page comment or reporting it as spam
    • Moving the mouse over a link to a page or the name or profile picture of a page to see a preview of the page contents
    • Clicking on the website, phone number, ‘Route planner’ button or any other button on a page
    • Viewing an event on a page, reacting to an event (including the type of reaction), clicking on a link for event tickets
    • Starting a Messenger conversation via the page
    • Viewing or clicking on an article in a page shop
       
  • Information about actions, persons performing relevant actions, and the browsers/apps used to perform relevant actions, such as:
    • Date and time of the action concerned
    • Country/city (estimated based on IP address or the user profile in the case of logged-in users)
    • Language code (from the browser’s HTTP header and/or the language setting)
    • Age/gender group (based on the user profile – logged-in users only)
    • Previously visited websites (from the browser’s HTTP header)
    • Whether the action concerned was performed on a computer or a mobile device (from the browser user agent or from app attributes)
    • Facebook user ID (logged-in users only)

 

As a site operator, we do not have access to data that is processed in relation to events, but rather only summarised site insights.

 

(2) Facebook places a cookie (data package) on your device when you visit a fan page or other page operated by Facebook. This contains an assignable user code. The cookie is enabled for two years unless deleted at an earlier time. The user code can be associated with your information if you are registered as a user on Facebook. The information stored in this context is processed by Facebook. It is also possible that third parties may use information from Facebook cookies to provide services to companies that advertise on Facebook.

C. Legal basis and legitimate interest for our data processing

We process personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests in effective interaction with Facebook users, visitors to our profile and in the context of communicating with Facebook users, including our company profile pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

D. Sharing data

When you visit our Fan Page, any data collected may be transferred to Facebook Inc. in the United States and processed there.

We do not share personal data with third parties in connection with the operation of our Fan Page.

E. Options to object via your Facebook account

A. What data do we process when you use Youtube?

 

No data is processed directly by us as part of our YouTube channel.

However, if you enter data on YouTube yourself as a registered user, such as your user name and content published under your own account, we will process this data as follows:

  • We will share or respond to your comments
  • We write a post that refers to your profile

In such cases, data you enter on YouTube, in particular your (user) name and content published under your account, will be processed to the extent that it is included on our Fan Page and made available to our fans.

 

B. Legal basis and legitimate interests for our data processing

 

We process personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests in effective communications with YouTube users, visitors to our channel and in the context of our associated company profile, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

C. What data is processed by YouTube?

 

Data collected about you when you use the YouTube platform is processed by YouTube and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union. We have no influence on the type and scope of data processed by YouTube, the manner of processing and use or the disclosure of this data to third parties, in particular to countries outside the European Union.

This primarily concerns the following data:

  • First and last name
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Credit card number

Please note that YouTube also receives data from you even if you have not created a profile on the YouTube platform, but visit third-party websites and apps that use YouTube services or with which YouTube offers services. We, Bonowi IPE GmbH, maintain a company profile on the online platform of the LinkedIn social network, LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland (“LinkedIn”), on which personal data is processed.

Operation of our company profile

(1) Interaction and communications
The purpose of operating our company profile on LinkedIn is to interact and communicate with users and visitors on the LinkedIn social network. We provide information that directly concerns our company and its associated offerings. This applies, for example, to events we sponsor or other current events, special promotions and offerings as well as advertisements for current vacancies.

We are able to access data you have provided as a LinkedIn member on LinkedIn if you contact us. This may include your name, current position, qualifications, country of residence, industry or employment status.

 

We may process the associated data if you enter data on LinkedIn yourself, such as your user name and other content published via your LinkedIn account, or if you follow our LinkedIn profile. In particular, this will be the case if you share or recommend our content, comment on it or when you post a link to our website within LinkedIn.

 

(2) User analysis
LinkedIn provides us with a variety of information about visits and visitors to our company profile by means of the ‘Page Insights’ service. This information is provided by LinkedIn and enables us to better and more effectively manage the marketing of our activities. This is so-called aggregated data with which it is not possible to identify you personally. Any data processing activities within the context of the ‘Pages Insights’ service are carried out under the sole responsibility of LinkedIn. We have no access to personal data except in aggregated form.

 

D. Legal basis and legitimate interest for our data processing

 

a)    We process personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests in effective interaction with LinkedIn users, visitors to our profile and in the context of communicating with LinkedIn users, including our company profile pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

b)    The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if direct communication via LinkedIn also concerns the conclusion of a contract.

c)    The legal basis for data processing in connection with job advertisements and applications is primarily section 26 BDSG. This provision permits data to be processed that is required in connection with a decision to establish an employment relationship.

 

Should this data be necessary for the pursuit of legal rights after completion of the application process, data processing may be carried out in the pursuit of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, namely for purposes of asserting and/or defending against legal claims.

 

E. Data sharing

 

Data collected during visits to our company profile may be transferred to LinkedIn Corporation, based in the USA, and processed there.

 

We do not share data with third parties in connection with the operation of our company profile.

B. Rectification, erasure, restriction of processing (blocking), objection
